RUSSIAN MARITIME REGISTER OF SHIPPING
морской регистр судоходства
We have developed a new official website for RMRS. The Classification Society “Russian Maritime Register of Shipping” carries out the classification of ships and floating structures, technical supervision on behalf of the Maritime Administrations of various countries, fulfills the requirements of international conventions and issues relevant documents on behalf of the Administrations.www.rs-class.org
The upper promoblock can be minimized to a narrow strip with navigation and a logo, if necessary.
Waterline (niderl. Waterlinie) - a line of contact of a calm surface of the water with the hull of a floating vessel. This element inspired us to create animations of the main page.
We needed to update the organization’s website. The solution that was used before is outdated both in terms of design and functionality. It was necessary to transfer all the content and rethink its location on the site.
We had a limited number of templates, so we came up with a universal page that has all the blocks. For flexibility in customizing pages, we used snippets. Snippet is a small information block, a component for use on pages.
Each page has its own cover. We added colors by using custom images. They are different for each page and unique. Pictures complement the information on the page and become its visual representation.
We have developed a complete design system for the site. The primary colors are blue and red, and their various shades. All states and images are drawn within this system.
The main office is located in Moscow, but the RS has many offices around the world. Each one offers a different number of services. Therefore, in addition to the main map, we added a map of all divisions. You just need to indicate your city or port, specifying the service. The map will show suitable offices and contacts.
The site plays on all types of devices, since we created responsive design options for different resolutions.
More than 20 pages were collected and all conditions for mobile devices were drawn. We developed various filters that became part of the design system.
